· Be willing to volunteer or perform service work when you not working or looking for employment.
The admissions process begins with establishing individual goals with its Members. Members are orientated on the facility rules and the grievance procedure. The Members are assigned their living space introduced to the other residents and given a listing agencies and organizations that offer resources and support such as (clothing, food, employment, churches and a variation of medical resources).
Shekinah Communities has established strong community collaborative agreements with other services such as the Goodwill Industries that assist with various employment and education/vocational training opportunities. Shekinah Communities also collaborates with Clean Investment, Inc a supportive outpatient program for any services needed for the Member recovery.
Our ultimate goal is to provide the available resources in a simplified manner. Resources for the Members have severed to assist and strengthen its residents in getting them acclimated back into society. Shekinah Communities has established a garden where residents have grown organic vegetables whereby they can save money and eat healthy.
